Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Alamuddin, a Lebanon native, is an Lebanese and British barrister who was an activist for human rights for a long time. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law has achieved international recognition for her work and accomplishments in International human rights laws. Some of her clients are the people of Armenia that is fighting against the Turkish government for the acknowledgement and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged and later married with American actor George Clooney, instantly making her famous in pop culture. Years before this though she was well-known and respected in legal circles for consistently representing her clients with skill and success. Her job is to represent multinational companies during court hearings and discussions regarding government regulations, as well as social justice or human rights. Since 2015, she is a barrister one type of legal representative for British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
