Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1997) is an American actress best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. Along with receiving critical appreciation, her performance on the show earned six Emmy Award nominations under the best supporting actors category. Since her time in the industry that spans more than two decades she has also been recognized for her role on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls.
